Prof. Ray's work on microwave technologies is recognised worldwide. Under his able leadership, the technology behind Atulya, a microwave steriliser to kill the coronavirus was developed. After technology transfer, Maser, an Indian medical MSME working on microwave technology for disinfection solution, has launched the product to enable sterilization of surfaces, surroundings and aerosols during COVID 19 spread.
